Arnold J Band

Arnold J. Band has been a professor of Hebrew and comparative literature at UCLA since 1959. He has authored books on S. Y. Agnon and Nahman of Bratslav and a selected collection of essays on Jewish literature in the JPS Scholar of Distinction series. Band is the founder of the Department of Comparative Literature and the Jewish Studies Center at UCLA.
