The Translator: Dr. Anna-Marie Aldaz was born in Budapest, Hungary, and received her Ph.D. in Comparative Literature from the University of Oregon. She taught English literature in Brazil and is currently an associate professor at Northern Arizona University (Flagstaff, Arizona).
