Dr Andrew Ross grew up in Sussex and his life-long interest in fossils enabled him to land his dream job as a Palaeontologist, firstly at the Natural History Museum in London and then at National Museums Scotland in Edinburgh. Also, for the past few years he has been the Editor-in-Chief of the Earth and Environmental Science Transactions of the Royal Society of Edinburgh.
