He completed his first degree and doctorate at the University of Oxford and worked in Strasbourg and Imperial College London before moving to Bath, where he is currently Head of Department. He has taught many aspects of inorganic chemistry, though his current courses focus on s- and d-block chemistry. His research interests are in porous materials such as metal-organic frameworks and he has published over 160 papers. See less
