Andrew Barthelmes

Andrew Barthelmes grew up in a family committed to both nature and art. He began at a young age watercoloring with his father, also an artist, in the storied hills of the Hudson Highlands. A graduate of the School of Visual Arts in New York City, his first picture book was Herman the Loudmouth. Andrew lives in Peekskill, NY with his wife and their cat.
