Andreas Platthaus studied rhetorics, philosophy, history, and economics before joining the staff of the Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung in 1997, where he works as literary editor. (Deutsche Organisation nichtkommerzieller Anhänger des lauteren Donaldismus), a German organization of non-commercial followers of "Donaldism," in 1983, became its president in 1992, and was awarded with its honorary membership in 2007.
