Andrea Moore Paldy, former Chair of the Digital Filmmaking and Multimedia program at the Katharine Gibbs School, continues to teach classes in screenwriting, directing and career development at Gibbs. Andrea Moore Paldy, former Chair of the Digital Filmmaking and Multimedia program at the Katharine Gibbs School, continues to teach classes in screenwriting, directing and career development at Gibbs. She received a Bachelor of Arts cum laude in French and English history and literature from Harvard University and a Master of Fine Arts in Film from Columbia University. She was director of development for Magic Hour Productions, headed by writer/director Eleanor Bergstein (Dirty Dancing), where she developed projects for theater, film and television, including the stage version of Dirty Dancing.
