Ananya Chatterjea

Ananya Chatterjea is professor of dance at the University of Minnesota. She is also the Artistic Director of Ananya Dance Theatre, a dance company of women artists of color who believe in the powerful intersection of artistic excellence and social justice (www.ananyadancetheatre.org). She is author of Butting Out: Reading Resistive Choreographies Through Works by Jawole Willa Jo Zollar and Chandralekha (Wesleyan University Press, 2004).
