Amar Wahab is an Associate Fellow with the Yesu Persaud Centre for Caribbean Studies, The University of Warwick. He teaches in the areas of Classical and Contemporary Sociological Theory. His research focuses on Caribbean postcolonial studies, emphasizing race, ethnicity and gender in visual discourses on slavery and indentureship.
