Allen Riedel

Allen Riedel is a journalist, author, photographer, and Dean of Students at Idyllwild Arts Academy. He lives with his wife, Monique, and children, Michael, Sierra, and Makaila. He has authored several hiking guides, including Best Hikes Near Los Angeles, Best Easy Day Hikes Riverside, and Best Easy Day Hikes San Bernardino. Allen spent two years living in China, and now lives in Idyllwild, CA.
