He is the chairperson of Alite; a company he founded to work in the field of motivation, learning and training. Alistair has written award-winning books, featured on radio and television programmes, and spoken at conferences internationally. Sir John Jones was Headteacher of 3 schools over a period of 17 years and was a government adviser on a range of national initiatives. He is an Associate Director of ALITE Ltd, a board member of the Leading Aspect Award and sits on the Advisory Panel for the Curriculum Foundation. He is a renowned national and international speaker. He teaches part-time at Liverpool and Manchester Universities on Leadership and the Management of Change. John received a Knighthood in the New Year's Honours List 2003 for services to education.
