Alice Mead

Alice Mead is an artist, teacher, and grandmother of three. For forty years she raised her family on the coast of Maine. Since 1994 and a diagnosis of CFIDS and dysautonomia, she published with Farrar, Straus and Giroux, with a passion for the millions of modern children caught in decades of warfare, immigration and poverty.
