A native of Puerto Rico, Alberto Mercado moved to the United States in 1985. He balances his life between work, family, friends and one of his passions; freelance photography. He lived in the city of Worcester, Ma. before moving to Sturbridge, Ma. with his partner of 17 years. His first book titled "From Ashes to Dreams; My Life, My Story." was a work in the making for a long time becoming a reality in the spring of 2009 when he decided to publish it. Subsequently, he wrote his second novel, "Annabel; Finding Her Way Home" which also received good reviews from the Turley publications and readers.
