Alastair Thomson

Alastair Thomson is principal policy and advocacy officer at NIACE. He joined the organisation on a two-year contract in 1987 and is now the longest-serving member of staff. This followed a spell as a Whitehall information officer in the Department for Education and Science, prior to which he combined a career in print and broadcast journalism with teaching in further, higher and community education in Cambridge.
