Alan Sultan is a professor of mathematics at Queens College. He is a secondary author of "Implementing the Common Core State Standards through Mathematical Problem Solving: High School" and Implementing the Common Core State Standards through Mathematical Problem Solving: Grades 6-8" both published by NCTM. He is also an author or coauthor of about thirty five research and expository articles as well as the recipient of grants and teaching awards including the Queens College Presidential Teaching Award for Excellence in Teaching.
