Aimee Bratt was born in Stockholm, Sweden, in 1943, the daughter of diplomat Dr. Eyvind Bratt. Aimee Bratt was born in Stockholm, Sweden, in 1943, the daughter of diplomat Dr. Eyvind Bratt. After spending her teenage years in East Africa, she returned to her native country and graduated from the prestigious French School in 1963 and Schartau Commercial Institute in 1965.Beginning in 1964, she worked as a fashion model in Paris, a marketing interviewer in Stockholm, and a secretary in Teheran. In 1966, she began flying for Pan American World Airways based in San Francisco, first as a stewardess and, from 1970 until the airline's demise in 1991, a flight purser.In 1971, Ms. Bratt joined the Screen Actors Guild after landing a small role in an independent feature film, and appeared in many New York-made films while continuing to fly worldwide. She recounted her varied experiences with Pan Am and in the movie business in her two previous books, "Glamour and Turbulence" and "The Other Side of Stardom. " See less
