Ahmed Abodehman
Abodehman was born in 1949 in Assir, a village in the mountains of Saudi Arabia. He began writing while a student at the University of Riyadh, with poems appearing in a variety of Saudi newspapers and reviews. He currently lives with his wife and daughter in Paris, where he has written for the newspaper al-Riyadh since 1982. He's the first writer from the Arabian peninsula to publish in French.
