She grew up drawing and writing, and moseyed to the goal of author and published illustrator, giving her a wide variety of experiences and interests. She grew up drawing and writing, and moseyed to the goal of author and published illustrator, giving her a wide variety of experiences and interests. From egg painting (on ostrich eggs for Busch Garden, Tampa Bay, Florida as well as pysanki) to teaching calligraphy and studying with some of the worlds finest calligraphers.
