Agnes Durant Pylant

Pylant was a native of Florida and grew up in Birmingham, Alabama. She attended Judson College, graduated from Texas Christian Universith and Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary. She has worked as minister of youth and education and as a college teacher. After the death of her husband, she moved to Nashville, TN to establish and direct the Department of Church Recreation for the Southern Baptist Convention. She died at age 85.
