Adrian Sherlock is an English teacher and writer who could not get his young son to turn off the computer games long enough to read. So he started getting his son to make up adventure stories with him at bed time. He wrote Aiden's Powers about the stories he made up with his son in the hope it would encourage other young children to read more. He also writes some science fiction and adventure stories for older readers. He lives with his family and their cat.
