Adam J Jackson originally qualified and worked as a solicitor in the mid-1980's before re-training in Natural Therapies. He went on to become a monthly columnist for the Nursing Times and Health Guardian, specialising in reviewing the latest research in natural health sciences, complementary medicines and drug-free therapies. Adam quickly became a leading proponent in his field. In 2001 he appeared on behalf of the British Complementary Medical Association before the House of Lords Select Committee reviewing Alternative & Complementary Therapies in the UK. He has appeared on national television in the UK and North America, and numerous articles of his have been published in national magazines. Adam is the author of eight books in the mind, body and spirit and business/personal development niches. These include 'The Secrets of Abundant Health, Wealth, Love & Happiness' series which has been translated and published in 27 languages around the world. Adam's most recent book, 'The Flipside: Finding the hidden opportunities in life' is currently available in 17 languages. Having kept a life journal for over 30 years, Adam's experience and interest in journaling led him to investigate the various benefits associated with keeping a life journal. He spent the last five years reviewing the the available scientific research and this culminated in his new book, The Life Journal: How A Notebook and Pen Can Change Your Life. Adam has designed a unique range of interactive life journals based upon the findings of scientists and psychologists working in the field. Outside of writing, Adam develops commercial mobile and web applications. He is a passionate advocate of animal rights, maintaining a vegan diet, and trains in the martial arts of Aikido and Tai Chi. His other hobbies include skiing, sailing, tennis, and close-up magic. He is also a fan of football, following the English Premier League, and is a lifelong supporter of Manchester United.
