Prior to marrying and moving to Europe, Ada Feyerick was a picture editor of Horizon magazine (American Heritage Publishing Co.). Prior to marrying and moving to Europe, Ada Feyerick was a picture editor of Horizon magazine (American Heritage Publishing Co.). On an extensive trip through the Far East, she established a stringer network while originating stories to be featured in the magazine. Prior to Horizon, she was with the Public Affairs Department of NBC-TV, where she researched and developed hour-long documentary films, and preceding this, was the assistant to the foreign news editor of Look magazine. Her illustrated book, Genesis: World of Myths and Patriarchs, published by New York University Press, tracked the familiar traditions of the first book of the Old Testament as they evolved from ancient Near Eastern cultures. She is a member of the Authors Guild and the Overseas Press Club. She is a graduate of Douglass College (Rutgers University), where she wrote a column for the college newspaper. See less
