ACHMAT DANGOR was born in Johannesburg in 1948, the year theNationalist Party, the architects of apartheid, won power. Winner of manyliterary prizes, including the 1998 Herman Charles Bosman Prize for Kafka's Curse , he is the author of three collections of poetry, a novella andshort story collection, and a novel. He currently lives with his wife in Geneva.
