Aaron Flanders is a native Californian by birth, and is of Irish and English descent. He is a husband, a father an educator and a muscle car enthusiast. Aaron's writing was prompted and inspired by many hours of lamentations into life, love and pursuit of hopes that would bring a mind in from the edge of reason. Many of the poetry pieces are you will find in these chapters are many of his older works from a darker period in his life. Aaron developed a love of poetry at a young age when he and his friend Kenny would collaborate on music lyrics. While employed at a University in Arizona, he developed a friendship with a writer who pushed him to use his words for deeper self-expression.
