You can update your e-mail address in Your Account.
Here's how:
Click the Account link in the upper-right corner of any page on our Web site. Enter your e-mail address and your current password, and then click the Continue button to get to your account information. Scroll down to the Update Your E-mail Address section to update your e-mail address. Verify your current e-mail address, and then type your new e-mail address into the new address fields. Click the Update button and you're done. We'll send an e-mail to both your old and new e-mail addresses confirming the update.
How do I update my shipping and billing information?
You can edit your shipping and billing information in Your Account.
Here's how:
To change your shipping address, click the Account link from the upper-right corner of any page on our Web site. Enter your e-mail address and your current password, and then click the Continue button to get to your account information. Scroll down to Account Shipping Address(es) to edit your shipping address or add a new one. Select the check box under your address to set your default shipping address.
You can change your billing address while placing an order. When you reach the Review & Place Order page, click the change button next to Payment Details. On the Payment Options page scroll down to Billing address to edit your billing address or select one from your address book. When you have finished, click continue to return to your order.
How do I change my password?
You can change your password in Your Account.
Here's how:
Click the Account link at the upper-right corner of any page on our Web site. Enter your e-mail address and your current password, and then click the Continue button to get to your account information. Click on the link to 'change your password' or scroll down to the Change Your Password section. Enter your current password and your new password in the appropriate fields. Then click the update button. You're done!
When do you request credit card updates?
The only time we ask that you provide us with any billing or credit card information is when you place an order.
When you place your initial order with Alibris, we will request your credit card information and billing address.
In addition, if you request your password by e-mail, we will ask for your credit card information as part of your next checkout process. (Upon e-mailing an account password, we delete all billing information associated with that account to ensure the security of our customer's financial information.)
We will also ask that you update your billing information at checkout if the credit card associated with your account has expired.
We will not ever send you an email asking you to come to our site to update your billing information. If you receive an e-mail that appears to be from Alibris, asking for information regarding your credit card, we ask that you forward that e-mail to Alibris Customer Service . That e-mail may be a fraudulent attempt to gather your financial information from an unscrupulous person, and we would appreciate it if you would alert us immediately.
