- Text in German Gothic Script. This book is in its orignal binding, a marbled red, blue and cream cover, half-bound with tan leather, with a hubbed spine and gold lettering to the backstrip. The cover is in poor condition, the leather being scuffed through on the corners, and the top, bottom and edges of the backstrip. The faces of the covers also show additional signs of minor wear. The binding remained firm throughout the book, and the leaves are slightly browned with age, especially towards the edges. The outer edges of the pageblock are sprinkled with brown paint. The text remains in fair condition overall, with no annotations, foxing or other significant markings other than a small amount of ink marginalia on a couple of pages. The majority of the library markings are inside the back cover, although there are some inside the front cover. This book has hardback covers. Ex-library, With usual stamps and markings, In poor condition, suitable as a reading copy. No dust jacket.
