Als Domherr des Hochstifts Meissen, Consistorialrath und Professor der Theologie zu Leipzig ward D. Lutherdt von der Verlagshandlung veranlasst, seine Jugend arbeit neu herauszugeben. Er begann mit einer eigenen Schrift ???ber die kritische Frage: Der jobanneische Ursprung des vierten Evangeliums untersucht 1874, ???ber welche H. Holtz mann (in dieser Zeitschrift 1875, VII, S. 442 f.) Bericht erstattet hat. Dann liess er das Werk selbst in "zweiter, erweiterter und mehr fach umgearbeiteter Auflage erscheinen, 1875. 1876. In der selben Richtung erschien von F. Godet, Doctor und Professor der'theologie in Neuchatel, ein Commentar zu dem Evangelium Johannis, deutsch bearbeitet von E. R.
