Tage eintrat, in 4 Classen, febres acutissimae (primus gradus 118), peracutae, acutae und subacutae. Wenn nun der Wulf (116 ff.) das Leiden der ersten Classe zuweist und am dritten Tage eine einmalige und vollkommene Krisis und infolge dessen eine langandauernde Gesundheit rorhersagt, so kann diese Diagnose, wie die Ubereinstimmung von 31 und 119 in dem Begriff fortis laugor und das Fehlen einer Gegendiagnose des Fuchses zu bezeugen scheint, wohl die richtige sein, vorausgesetzt dass heute der dritte Tag seit der Erkrankung ist (erit Futurum der Wahrscheinlichkeit, vgl. Einl.), eine Annahme, mit der die sonstigen Nachrichten bis auf die fingierte und marchenhafte Salernoreise, deren Antritt uberdies schon vor der Iusscrat idcirco rex stratum uallc sub alta, Quaque dabat densum gratior umbra nemus, 40 Scilicet ut morbi geminatus et ctheris ardor Temperiem caperet commoditatc loci; Porro animique ferox rex indocilisque ferendi Ipse sue. stimulus dcbilitatis erat.
