Doesn't give you the unique feel of the Wolds
A worthy book and updated regularly. The path is already superbly marked on the ground, and from a guide one wants to get information - which this one has - but importantly, to feel inspired. But this guide is a bit pedestrian (if that's the right word in this context!) The text, now I've walked this wonderful route, clearly doesn't give you the unique feel of the Yorkshire Wolds. But the OS map extracts save you pounds spent on a handful of maps, and that's a bonus.
