The truth is that our current system for choosing people to be our leaders and even the choice of ideas that they force upon us was invented by people who owned slaves and therefore, they could not afford to give the American people the right to vote directly on the issues of the day because the first thing the vast majority of people would have done would have been to ABOLISH SLAVERY. Instead, the slave-owning founding fathers gave us the Republican form of an artificial mockery of Democracy, the same one used by the Roman Empire to choose our leaders and receive their ideas and their ideas only for the solutions to our problems. For this reason, we are all still slaves. We are not forced to work in the hot sun all day without compensation and live in squalor on our slave-owners farms - however, we are forced to live with their ideas about how to use OUR MONEY. We have already been forced to use the full resources of the United States of America to sell weapons to terrorists and then we send our troops to be slaughtered daily by the weapons we just sold the enemy. This kind of solution has the sole purpose of allowing the gun manufacturers to profit by the BILLIONS from the daily labors of you and me. Is this not a form of slavery and worse - the mass murder of the highest ideals for Mankind? Does that sound like a Democracy to you? Or does that sound more like a very clever form of slavery where the slaves even convince themselves daily that they are free. IS it any wonder that some of us go off the deep end and use guns on our own streets and kill the most innocent among us strictly because we have no control over the gun and ammo makers who bribe our elected leaders daily to keep things the way they are - more BILLIONS for them stolen from our own nest-eggs. BUT their days are numbered. The Internet has provided us with the solution. All we have to do is what we are doing already. It costs us nothing. We are at this moment RATING some of the social media celebrities, food vendors, hotels, etc. every day to alert our compatriots of the best news, the best food, the best places to day - why not start rating our would-be leaders by those who would be the most effected by their actions? Why not even RATE SOME OF THEIR RIDICULOUS IDEAS and bring them back down to Earth. Such as deporting 11 million people who have risked their lives and fortunes to live among us in the attempt to feed their families and find a better life for them? Or how about the majestically ill-advised decision to help IRAN get their hands on NUCLEAR POWER - people who hate us and who daily proclaim our deaths? They will soon control the fate of millions of people they hate and I say this is unacceptable. How about you? I SAY - NEVER - NOT EVEN THE REMOTEST POSSIBILITY SHOULD HAVE BEEN PROVIDED to these people. There is enough hate to go around already in the world without Nuclear Powers. The Yelpocracy that this author envisions all ideas even the Legalization of Marijuana would be RATED by the AMERICAN PEOPLE and the highest rated ideas would eventually become the law of the land with the poorest rated ideas and people falling by the wayside.
