My two and a half year old granddaughter loves to be "scared." She really focuses on books with storms in them. We found this gorgeous picture book at the library & she demanded it over and over. She loves tracking the yellow ball from one beach, through a storm at sea, and back to to another beach. Gorgeous illustrations. It is really hard to find for purchase but well worth it.
