Was recommended this book by a Professer at Oregon State University as a must have if you wish to incorporate xeriscaping into your landscape. The organization of the book makes for quick referencing. The plant information is thorough and includes information not typically provided in other plant books I reference. The plant drawings are excellent and I really appreciate the photos which represent each plant during different seasons. The research into the selection of plants provided in this book impressed me because they grow so well in my area (high desert - juniper/sage predominant plants) which is a long way from Denver Water.
