There's no better book for those who are as fascinated by writers' work spaces as I am. The text is too brief and, in some cases, not informative about the writing process, but the photos are amazing. They're old now, so typewriters and, in one case, a quill are the work implements. Still, it's great to see where Welty (the cover photo), Michener, Ionesco, Sontag and Vonnegut created their works. It's a slim book, but very enjoyable.
