Good story but too little in the telling
Its quite a story - any dog lover will be facinated by the story but because the book is such a lightweight 8 years in a Sanctuary are dealt with in a matter of 20 pages or so.
I think "Word", the hero deserved a better writer who could make a bit more of the story .
