Seller's Description:
Yipes its Abbie the Yippie sounding off on anything and everything that was a problem to him and many others in 1969. Amusing to look back and realise that Abbie and several of his six friends who were on trial on conspiracy to riot during the democratic convention in 1968 eventually sold out big time and became part of the establishment that they were rebelling against. Includes lots of material on drugs, rock, politics the Viet Nam war, politicians, Woodstock and much more. Very 60's looking with busy graphics and alot of illustrations and photos that are printed on different colored papers. Very faint cover line crease which is very lightly mirrored to some pages, former owner signature on 1st pg. and small remainder mark to the bottom edge. A terrific relic of the 60's. Groovy. Vg+
The book arrived as described, in a timely fashion.
When the book came out, I had a copy as 3 of my friends were in one of the photos. I wanted to share it on social media which didn't exist back then. I have used Alibris several times to find "obscure" titles.

Abbie Wins
A very interesting insight into Woodstock and the people that made it happen. For anyone who wants to understand the motivation of the youth of the 60s this book is instrumental. Many of the problems with our country that the Yippies proclaimed are still there. Abbie Hoffman is gone. Who will take up the torch.
