Very Good in Very Good jacket. First edition. Modest offsetting on endpapers, light foxing along the top of boards with toning on the spine, very good in a very good dust jacket with a sunned spine, and tape on the cover with tape shadows on the rear and interior panels. A satiric re-telling of six Biblical tales to conform to the taboos inflicted on the film industry by the Hays Code (which enforced "decency" on the industry in the aftermath of the Fatty Arbuckle scandal) and which, incidentally, is the first book appearance of the code in its entirety.
