Useful book, but has patronizing tone
Before buying this book, I read customer reviews of a number of Windows 7 books. Others had major disadvantages: way too thick, or had bad bindings. This book seemed less problematic.
The book is helpful, tells how to do a lot of things. However, it has a chatty, condescending style that I find annoying. Index not very good. I've found that I need to skim the table of contents to find most subjects.
Still, it seems better than the alternatives. A useful reference book.
