Seller's Description:
Very good, fair to good. 226, illus., bibliography, notes, index, DJ somewhat worn: small tears, small chips missing. President Abraham Lincoln's involvement with mediums and psychics during the Civil War through the time of his death. Lincoln's deceased son Willie narrates the story of his father's spiritual enlightenment from the "other side. "
At first I was dubious about a book whose author claimed to have spirit contact with Willie Lincoln, the President's son who died at age 11. However, there is something unearthly that rings very true about this book. If the author is indeed making everything up, he is staggeringly good at doing so and very imaginative. I found it fascinating.
