Fine. Octavo, 212pp., illustrated. A fine, crisp copy in the publisher's maroon cloth. Just a touch of rubbing to the spine ends. A wonderful copy, SIGNED and lengthily INSCRIBED by sculptor Edwin Willard Deming on the front free endpaper. Deming sculpted the bust of Jones, a photographic illustration of which is used as the frontispiece in this volume. Deming was known for his sculpture and painting of Native American scenes and figures. The inscription reads, in a rather inscrutable hand: "With Christmas Greetings 1912 To my dear friend Bronson (? ) whose warm friendship is one of my most valued possessions, and from whose books I have lived again the old days when men wore [crossed out] spurs (? ) and the honor of a woman was sacred. From the friend of Billy Jones, Edwin Willard Deming."
