A useful and broad overview of pioneer and Native survival skills, but not much different from the series of native craft books published by Ben E. Hunt and familiar to Boy Scouts of the 50s and 60s. If you need a book like this, it probably will not make up for actual experience or survival-crafting skills, but is a useful pocket-able refresher of proven stratagems for those of us who have need to live off the land with a minimum of manufactured conveniences.

Book was used but looked new. This is a very useful book for ordinary outdoor survival.
