The second part of the book consists of sixteen case studies, where Gomersall describes how he achieved some of his most outstanding images. The large new audience for a guide such as this is evidenced in the growth of ecotourism and the uptake of digital cameras with excellent zoom facilities in recent years. The field has opened up to many more people as cameras are now largely automated and foolproof.
