Thema der Diskussion war, ob und wie eine Verh???tung von Kriegen m???glich ist. Klaus Horn rezipiert diesen Briefwechsel 1983 vor allem hinsichtlich der zweigeteilten Argumentation Freuds und der sich daraus ergebenden Fragestellung, ob beide Ans???tze auf sozialwissenschaftlicher Basis vereinheitlicht werden k???nnen. Darauf aufbauend entwickelt er die Theorie, dass insbesondere die Subjektivit???t eine entscheidende Rolle bei der Kriegsverhinderung spielt. Ziel der Arbeit ist es, die Argumentationen des Briefwechsels Einstein-Freud einerseits und der Rezeption Horns andererseits nachzuvollziehen und m???gliche Probleme zu identifizieren. Dabei soll auch auf die Pr???missen, die der Argumentation Klaus Horns zugrunde liegen, eingegangen werden.
