This is an excellent book showing a pattern of how the tiger has one characteristic of each of the 5 or 6 other animals that meet him and are afraid of him. The artistry is excellent. There is a snail hidden on each page which is fun for the older kids to find. The reading pattern is predictable and easy for the preschooler to "read" to the toddler. A truly wonderful pattern book.
