Extreme Eurocentricity
This is an excellent book for European information. However, the sub title states "The Definitive guide to the World's 1,000 best Winter Sports Resorts".
This is false advertising at worst and misleading at best. World Class resorts such as Sun Valley, Telluride and Steamboat in the USA, Niseko, Rusutsu, Shiga Kogen and Nozawa Onsen in Japan, Gulmarg in India, Valle Nevado in Chile, Catedral and Las Lenas in Argentina are given inadequate attention and sometimes not even an index entry!
The editors must also believe that the tropic of Cancer is the end of the world.
