Einleitung Diese schriftliche Ausarbeitung besch???ftigt sich mit der Fragestellung, inwiefern Zeugenaussagen reliabel sind, da in den meisten F???llen einige Zeit zwischen dem Ereignis und der Befragung liegen und Zeugen in diesem Zeitraum h???ufig mit einer F???lle von neuen oder falschen Informationen konfrontiert sind. Zur Kl???rung dieser Frage wird auf ein Experiment von J. M. Bowers und D. A. Bekerian, (1984) zur???ckgegriffen, anhand dessen dargelegt werden konnte, dass Post Event Information (PEI) Zeugenaussagen beeinflussen und sogar verf???lschen kann. In ihrem Experiment ging es darum, wann genau falsche Information das Ged???chtnis eines Zeugen in Bezug auf das zu bezeugende Ereignis beeinflusst. Die Psychologen besch???ftigten sich mit dieser Problematik, die sich generell bei Zeugenaussagen und Verh???ren ergeben kann. Ergebnis war, dass bewusste oder unbewusste Ver???nderungen der Informationen zwischen Ereignis und dem Zeitpunkt des Abrufs der Erinnerung eintreten k???nnen, welche dann die Aussage verf???lschen.
