I've read this book at least twice and bought several copies to give to friends. It is the story of a woman who went through something she could never have imagined in her wildest nightmares and how she accepted it and allowed God to use it for her own growth and ministry to others.
Like Abraham in the Old Testament who was willing to lay his son down on an altar of sacrifice if it was what God required, Carol Kent sees her experience as surrendering her rights to her son's future as her sacrifice to God and chooses not to be bitter or fight it. .
Very inspiring and encouraging.

The Pittsburgh Situation
Are any of you familiar with the Pittsburgh, PA situation of the past 16 years???? If no, you are of another galaxy yet to be discovered....History says "If you have nothing nice to say, say nothing", and I have nothing nice to say of her situation or of the Pittsburgh situation....If this review makes no sense to you, then I suggest this book, otherwise, I have to say it is OVERKILL!!!! If you are of the curious, knock yourself out.....If you are tired of reruns, then the book may not be of your liking, but it IS an interesting and tragic story (I'm not finished reading it as I need a break to pursue other avenues of OVERKILL!!!)
