In this study concepts learnt in international political economy are adopted to highlight key security, production, financial and technological power structures. These power structures have transformed the interlocking and overlapping sets of bargains that have determined the European Community's wheat policy current during the Uruguay round of the General Agreement on Tariffs and Trade in progress at the time of writing.
