He is an Army veteran, former gospel radio announcer, presently the mayor of the town of Vance and the chaplain of the South Carolina Conference of Black Mayors. He has been preaching and teaching the Word of God for more than twenty years in South Carolina, Maryland, Pennsylvania and Georgia. Apostle Aiken resides in Vance with his lovely wife, Dorothy, and they have six children-Terence, Quenton, Deon, Erin, Michael Jr. and Keyshawn. He has six grandchildren as well.
