This is a fun, fairly simplistic guide to making informed, flattering wardrobe choices. The text is written in Trinny and Susannah's trademark self-deprecatory, humorous style, and the plentiful photos of one or the other of the women in the right (or wrong) clothing choices are a lot of fun to look at. The book is divided into sections which recommend different garment choices based on the authors' different bodies, and the photos certainly show why the don'ts are don'ts, and why the dos are dos--the women's hilarious facial expressions just underscore what is readily apparent! Ironically, the fact that Trinny and Susannah model the clothes is also the book's greatest drawback, however; seeing the various style choices on only the two of them gives a necessarily limited view of how different clothing choices might appear on a wider sample of body types. For a more detailed breakdown of body types and clothing choices, readers will have to dig deeper, into such books as The Science of Sexy, Closet Smarts, etc. This is not a book someone is likely to read again and again, but is a fun introduction to, or supplement to, the pantheon of wardrobe books out there.
