As it is billed, this is a young adult read. It is quick light easy reading, perfect when spending the day being an Election Judge. About mid-way through you can guess the ending but it is an enjoyable read anyway.

3 Books as opposed to The Book Of 3...
Great read. Of the three books in this series about war and relationships- this first book is, obviously, the most pleasant one. The set-up for the series is another rollicking, well-worded and whimsical tale by the always entertaining Alexander. A great way to re-live the Alexander rhythm without re-reading a book you've already read, despite the presence of the Alexander template (which, to me, is only a reason TO read him, unexpectedly). This book moves along at a great pace and with alot of color. The following progressively more distressing books in the series are all the better served by this book which shows you what is lost, and consequently gained, from the sociological cycle of war/justice and oppression/hope. ****
